About
I'm Will, a meliponist (native bee keeper) based in Brisbane. I often go to Hervey Bay and the Clarence Valley. I first became fascinated by native bees in 2019 when a colleague said 'hey Will, I've got a hobby for you'. That conversation sparked my passion with native bees, and lockdowns gave me the perfect excuse to research them even more.

I enjoy watching these cool little pollinators make my garden home. I enjoy raising awareness about native bees and how crucial their role is in our ecosystem. Any hive we remove is cared for at our property until it is a strong, healthy hive. Head of Security, Moto (our Dobermann) makes sure the hives are safe from any cats or possums.

As a member of the Australian Native Bee Association, I’m committed to supporting initiatives that protect and promote native bee populations, and rescuing, removing and relocating native bees so we lose no colonies. As these bees are native, they should not be exterminated and this is where we proudly come in to help.
